        荷包紅魚

        相傳明萬歷年間,婺源沱川人余懋學任南京戶部右侍郎時,因巡守有功,神宗皇帝賜御花池內的紅魚作為獎賞。余懋學告老還鄉,帶回紅魚繁殖成現在的婺源荷包紅魚。婺源荷包紅魚蛋白質含量為21.0%,脂肪含量為2.67%,烹飪多為蒸、燉、燜為主。肉質細嫩,味道鮮美,1985年釣魚臺國賓館已將荷包紅魚列入國宴,受到外國元首贊賞。荷包紅魚還具有觀賞價值和藥用價值。此魚有和脾養肺,平肝補心,滋陰養陽之功能,已被中家水產總局列為國家淡水優良養殖品種。
