        劉是豆腐腦世家,原在陰陽界樓下開店,樓垮后才遷到舊城隍廟頭殿過廳西側。劉的灶上也設一把大銅鍋,生意與曾醪糟一樣,煮一鍋賣一鍋,座無虛席。下午至晚間挑擔沿街營業,顧主站擔邊品嘗,另有風味。劉豆腐腦兒用料十分考究,黃豆及二荊條魚鉤嘴海椒要用牧馬山的,花椒要用富林(今漢源縣)的,用水要用蔡家山塘的,菜油要用澄缸的,芡粉要用白碗豆的,所以,豆腐腦兒其白如雪,一片連一片,空隙不見豆窖水。上面一圈熟油鮮紅,一撮酥豆金黃,幾斷蔥花綠如碧玉,一入口,滿嘴酸、咸、麻、辣、香、酥、脆,令食者口味為之一振。
